DESCRIPTION:
Antique circa 1864 English Minton ironstone dinner plate decorated with an armorial crest and family motto "VIRTUS MILLE SCUTA".
MARKS:
Minton FLORENTINE M&Co with an English registry diamond for 1862 and a colorless impressed Minton date symbol for 1864.
CONDITION:
In good antique condition
free from cracks, damages, repairs and restorations
with typical minor but noticeable scratches and wear on the rim. There is a small chip on the foot rim.  There are some typical minor stains to the backside rim.
There may be a few typical slight factory original imperfections possibly including glaze dimples, specs, or paint and color variations.  None are visually obvious or distracting unless noted.
MEASUREMENTS:
Maximum diameter is about 10 1/4 inches.
