    Antique 19th century Gien French faience pitcher with a winged goddess offering lush cornucopia, acanthus leaves and elaborate scrollwork, flanked by mythical creatures, swords and hatchets to guard her and her precious bounty. Detailed with stylized geometric handle and border designs. Entirely hand-painted. Marked "Gien" with a company mark used beginning in 1875. 6"L x 5.25"W x 6.25"H. From a Paris antique show. Excellent antique condition.
