    CONDITION:  Excellent
    This porcelain plate was produced in England by Minton in 1846.  The impressed date letter indicates this year.  The plate measures 9 1/8 inches in diameter.  It is made of fine, white bone china and has a delicate 1 1/2 inch reticulated border.  The porcelain is woven and intersects with medallions containing colorful butterflies and insects in them.  The center of the plate is beautifully hand painted with morning glories and meadow grasses that have attracted colorful butterflies.  The border is richly embellished with gilding and beaded gold accents.  C439a
