Faience D'Art Gien Napoleon Bonaparte Coronation Bicentenary Ltd. Edition Plates

For sale is this collection of twelve Limited Edition French Gien Dessert Plate Set of the Bicentenary of the Coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte in 2004. This set was created by Faience D'Art Gien
, and made in France. The large platter is 13" wide while the dessert plates are 7-7/8" wide.
The fine French Porcelain company,  Faience D'Art Gien, created a Limited edition of the Bicentenary of the coronation of Emperor Napoleon I and Empress Josephine by Pope Pius VII at Notre Dame de Paris (1804-2004).These are finished in Empire Green with Gold Rim Borders with the Napoleonic Bee Pattern typical of the 1st Empire. The scenes on these plates depict events of Napoleon's life, including many of the significant battles. On the back of each plate is a description of the event written in French and the date.
The largest platter is titled "Le Sacre" 2-12-1804, Napoleon's coronation, when he took the crown from the Archbishop and crowned himself.
Condition: There are no chips or cracks on any plates, but there are two areas of paint flaking on the large plate (shown). The gold metallic trim shows light wear and dulling. The plates do not appear to have been hung using metal plate hangers as I do not detect wear on the edges from those. Please use the photos as part of the condition.
