Antique, Minton, Persian Rose ( older pattern ) Set of 8 pcs Salad / Luncheon Plates - Made in England circa 1917.
These salad /
luncheon plates are in excellent condition for the age, no chips, no cracks, no crazing.
The pattern on the boarders are of embossed roses that are a vibrant pink color, and there is turquoise edge with and black scales
The painted trim on the rims is orange - mustard color, they are not faded and no obvious signs of wear.
The backs are stamped with the Mintons world globe and laurel leaf - and the pattern number #  B 838 they have imprints that denotes the year of manufacture.
They have been in my family for decades and they are thought to been purchased in circa 1917.
Sadly, I have no room or use for them.
They can be used as salad or luncheon plates, they measure 8.7/8 inches approx see photo # 6.
FYI: The 8 plates collectively weigh approx 8lbs. without box or packing materials.
