Rare Minton Pink Cockatrice Piece. It can be used for anything that suits your desired effect simply because, in my humble opinion the Pink Cockatrice Pattern is so beautiful.
I have several full tea and coffee sets and it's time to let a few much loved pieces go. I have always chosen to use all of the beautiful china, crystal and silver I have in anyway I feel makes my tea table look beautiful.
I have many more difficult to find rare and easier to find pieces of this pattern to list. This piece is in nearly excellent condition.
With the exception of a very Tiny Chip on the underside of the lid see picture 11. This Pink Minton Cockatrice Piece is in Excellent Condition to serve with. There are no cracks, repairs or crazing anywhere outside of the Painted Lid or Bowl

The water bottle is 16.9 FL OZ for size comparison The Tiny chip on the inside lid see picture 11 looks like it continues into a crack. I do not believe that is the case.
The line looks like the same paint color around the rim and the picture makes the line look like a hairline crack. That said, I could be wrong?
In my research related to the impression marks..The impression marks were made Before painting, then painted and heated once more. There is a " Y " shape on one side of the vent holes, see pictures. This is Not a crack, it looks like another paint mark.
There are two more paint marks and four numbers that allow you to better date this particular piece of china.
To the best of my knowledge this is a Pre-1950-1952 piece with “Minton” and a “J” for the month or potter’s Initial that would have been impressed on the bottom next to the smooth Pink Minton Stamp.
The impressed marks were no longer used after 1950-1952.
Other than described above, there are no cracks, crazing, or repairs.
