Minton White & Gold Floral & Maroon Shape G Berlin Embossed Creamer Circa 1830
Nice bone china creamer with relief molded grapevine design around the bottom and to the handle. Decorated with a maroon & Gilt scrollwork band with white flowers and gold gilt leaves. With gold scrollwork design around the neck and gold highlights to the top of the spout, handle, and the foot. Marked on the bottom with a pattern number, 879. The same form is pictured in Berthoud's Cabinet of Creamers as Minton and described as "Berlin" embossed Shape G in the factory records. Circa 1830.
Has some wear to the gilding and a small chip to one of the feet, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide from spout to handle x 4 7/8 inches tall.
