Offered is this beautiful and rare Minton Oyster plate.
Well marked on the back with the impressed MINTON, the Diamond Registration mark and the Minton Date Code of the Triangle with the line down the middle which dates this to be 1880.
It features 6 wells for oysters, a large center well for sauce and a large cracker well on the bottom.
It is hand painted with a Nautical theme in the center well.
It measures 10 inches wide.
It is in excellent antique condition with some glaze crazing seen in photos and stilt marks on the back from being fired in the kiln, all normal for a piece from the 1880's.
