A lot of 3 original magazine articles relating toRex Allen
, described as follows:
1) 1972 Arizona Highways Magazine article by Don Dedera titled "Rex Allen … a long overdue tribute to a native son - America's favorite Number One Arizona Cowboy"; consists of 5 relative pages (some back-to-back), with 4 B&W photos.
2) 1995 Arizona Highways Magazine article by Kathleen Walker titled "Rex Allen: Man with the Fetching Voice"; consisting of 4 pages (back-to-back), with 6 color photos; also includes article titled "Old Willcox: Just A Little Piece of America", also by Kathleen Walker, consisting of 5 pages, with 1 color photo celebrating "Rex Allen Days", and 1 small color photo of Rex Allen at his ranch.
Articles measure approximately 9" x 12", and both are in excellent condition.
3) a 2003 small article titled "One Good Horse", showing Rex Allen on his horse, Koko; measures 4 1/2" x 5"; also in excellent condition.
(Note:
I was given a large number of Arizona Highways magazines; however, in going through them I find most are damaged (missing covers / pages / photos, etc). Since I couldn't sell them because of this, I decided to go through and salvage any interesting articles / art / photos, etc, and bundle "like" subject matter. This listing is an example of that type of bundle.)
