    Description

This is a beautiful Terada classical guitar that was hand-made in Nagoya, Japan, in 1969. It’s rather rare - and rather exceptional.
In the 1960s and 1970s, Terada was contracted by many high-end brands to manufacture their guitars. At one point, Martin was a client of theirs. The long story short: Terada produced some of the most well-constructed, best-sounding instruments of the last century.
This Model 800 has all-laminate construction from old growth. Due to the manner in which wood ages and develops, this guitar’s tonal qualities now present with wonderful character and dynamics. The debate will forever go on regarding solids versus laminates, but this laminate is a gem.
Being one of Terada’s higher ranging models, this guitar has aged extremely well and has resided in a climate-controlled studio. It’s in outstanding condition.
