About the Molenaar Archive
This photograph/poster is a reproduction from the estate of Harry Molenaar. My father was a close personal friend to Harry & Signe for 22 years. He met him by chance while walking his dog. Harry employed my father to perform various odd jobs. For a while he lived at the race track (Illiana Speedway), and worked at Harry's 3rd Shop (Molenaar Harley-Davidson) in Hammond, IN.
After Signe's passing Harry opted to stay at work, and the shop became his retirement home. My father would continue to check on him daily, and convince Harry to come out and grab a bite to eat. Most of their time was spent reminiscing about the good old days. The original photograph and many other's were gifted to him by Harry's heirs for his decades of loyalty and friendship.
More Information
Prints 8" x 11" and smaller are mailed between two pieces of cardboard to prevent damage, and larger prints are sent in a heavy duty 2" mailing tube. Orders are combined to the largest print under most circumstances.
