DESCRIPTION OF ITEM:
Rare One Of Kind 2014 Gecko (Na Kaua)
Tiki Mug

This mug is the well known Na Kaua E Pale ("who guarded in the war") with a square base
This mug is a replica of the Tikis that guarded the Pu'uhonua ( Palace of the refuge) national historic site
The reason this mug is so rare and special is that Gecko did a 1 of glaze with this mug, he was testing a variety of glazing techniques....so super rare!!! :) and this is an artist proof
The exterior is loaded with colors, Browns, baby blue and white
The interior has baby blue and white speckles which pours over the top and is running down the top of the exterior of the mug
The blue and white speckle then meets the brown reflective glaze halfway down the mug to the base that looks almost copper/bronzed( see photos)
The base has a slight wobble that doesn't really affect the mug, still an amazing art piece!!!
